(a) (i)Theperiod of exemption following a certain testing
period after the sale of any `sét' (article, animal or slave),
75sold in good faith without either party knowing of any
radical defect (galar bunaid) or hidden blemish (ainim
inchleithe). If the defect or blemish did not appear
until after the testing period (i.e.during the `iubaile')
the seller could not be sued. If, however, the seller

discovery at any time after the sale legalised the return of
