To this: imirt glaith for rot using birdlime on a road, Laws v 474.6 (= scattering twigs smeared with birdlime ?); the gloss ( 476.1 ), however, and some late commentaries (e.g. O'Curry 903 , 1736 , 1933 ) take this to mean stealing firewood.
