2 pl. poss. pron., nasal. Cf. SÁR, SETHAR, FATHAR. See Thurn. Gr. p. 277 , 283 . No dis- crimination in use of FOR and FAR is apparent in the Glosses; BAR seems confined to position after the preps. DI, DO, FO, FRI, TRI, I N-, but the f- forms are also found in this position occasionally. In Mid.-Ir. MSS. all three forms are found with and without prep. but BAR, BUR (in modern spelling BHUR) eventually prevails. In Mid. Ir. MSS. the forms are commonly abbreviated : &fmacr;, b-.
